I know I haven’t known you for very long, and I haven’t even had very many conversations with you. But every time we talked, your kindness and joy always made my day. I always felt a sense of assuredness and security around you. You are gentle yet strong, and your presence was such a pillar in our community. Literally, you were the coolest person I’ve ever known. I wish we had more time so I could talk to you more and soak in more of your calm certainty and coolness. I’m sure everyone in your life wishes they could spend a lifetime more with you. Thank you for coming up to me that one Sunday to give me a big hug. I don’t think either one of us said much, but as always your presence said it all. We miss you.
